Built from Alaska's natural resources and resting on 35 acres of our 640-acre site, our spacious guest rooms, onsite restaurants, lounge and meeting facilities provide a luxurious getaway with an unmatched view of Denali and the Alaska Range. The Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge is a seasonal property encompassing seven buildings: a main lodge, four guest lodges, employee housing, and a maintenance facility. Resting above Talkeetna on the south side of Mt. McKinley, the stunning views are endless.

(The main lodge features rooms with king or queen size beds and interior entrances. The main lodge room types include 3 mountainside suites, 78 mountainside main lodge rooms, and 71 main lodge forest view rooms.
The guest lodge buildings feature 60 rooms with double size beds and exterior entrances. We also have ADA rooms available for each room type mentioned.)

Stop by the Base Camp Bar when you visit Talkeetna and check out the "Alaska Climbers Wall of Fame" honoring the brave men and women who can say they have stood on the summit of Mt. McKinley, or other amazing mountains in Alaska. Our full-service bar boasts a premium collection of liquors, handcrafted ales, quality wines and signature cocktails. Our staff awaits your selection. Foraker Dining Room

Chef's specialties include fresh Alaska seafood featuring succulent King Crab legs or wild Alaska salmon specialities nightly. The medallions of seared venison or tender filet mignon will delight your senses. Accent your delicious meal with one of our award-winning wines. Don't forget dessert... Chocolate Mousse "Molehill" cake. Yum!

Located in the main lobby of the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge, you will find a unique collection of authentic Native Art, ancient whalebone, ivory carvings and seal skin slippers. Authentic Native crafts from rural Alaska, Made in Alaska clothing and souvenirs along with sundries are available for purchase. Espresso is available in the lobby and soda machines are located throughout the property.
Free Talkeetna Shuttle
Available 9 am - 10 pm
Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge provides complimentary shuttle service departing the lodge from the main lobby, to the train depot, Talkeetna airport, and downtown Talkeetna. From downtown Talkeetna, our shuttle departs from Mahay's bus parking area, across the street from the Talkeetna Post Office.

Located off the Great Room and Main Lobby, guests can keep in touch with friends and family back home at one of our internet stations. Internet access may be purchased directly online from the internet provider servicing the lodge.
